Knitters Attic will be closed on Sundays until August 10. We are taking a a rest to do some family things during the summer break.

Mother's Day Sale Continues

The Mother's Day sale was a great success. Lots of customers and friends dropped by. We had a wonderful time. Angela, Katie, Nadia and I had fun helping customers and serving Cup Cakes. We plan to carry the sale on for another week. I hope you enjoy.

Finally, I'll be getting a real website (smile) For those of you who know me, heard my story about paying for a website , but getting a blog. The gentleman who took my money said, he did not think I need a real website.
Anyway, Knitters Attic...the website will be completed soon. Please let me know what you think when you see it.

Joshi's Hoodie

I have completed my grandson's hoodie. He loved it, but asked for pockets added. I've completed the pockets, so now I'll sew in the zipper. (pictures to come)

Logging Your Projects

I have decided to begin logging my projects. I first have to find them all. I have completed a neck warmer I started five months ago. (Picture to Come) Simple neck warmer, but I got interested in another project and the neck warmer went into the dreaded plastic bag...shame!

I have decided to start knitting socks. I will use the Magic Loop...what is the Magic Loop, beleive it or not, I am using a very long circular needle, pulling the loop out so I am only working on the points. I'll let you know how it turns out...

This is day number 24 and things are really slow. I am hoping when I get my flyers out, and signs around the neighbourhood, thing will get better. My website is still a blog, and I have decided that I will build my site with my friend. I know what I want, so I know what to do. Stay tuned, the journey has just begun...
